Vyacheslav Gladkov, Governor of Belgorod Oblast said that the death toll as a result of the attack launched by Ukrainian forces has risen to 22 people.

The governor wrote on his Telegram channel, expressing his condolences to the families and friends of the victims: “Unfortunately, and to our great sadness, the death toll rose after the bombing of Belgorod yesterday, reaching 22. Last night, one of the injured died in the hospital.”
Gladkov indicated that of the 109 injured, 25 people are still in serious condition, and he plans to transfer them to federal hospitals.
The governor added that 30 residential buildings, 381 apartments, a number of private homes, and many cars were damaged as a result of the Ukrainian bombing.
on Saturday, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Kiev forces carried out an indiscriminate attack on Belgorod with missiles and cluster bombs.
The ministry explained that Ukrainian forces attempted to attack Belgorod with cluster munitions from Vilkha rocket launchers and Czech Vampire missiles. Russian air defense systems intercepted most of the enemy targets, but several shells and missiles nevertheless fell on the city.
Commissioned by Russian President Vladimir Putin, a team from the Ministry of Health headed by Minister Mikhail Murashko headed to Belgorod.
