Death Toll from Armed Attack on Prison in Mexico Rises to 27

Mexican authorities have announced that the death toll from an armed attack on a prison in northern Mexico has risen to 27.

The authorities stated - according to Montecarlo al doualiya, today, Tuesday, that seven people were killed in Ciudad Juarez in northern Mexico during a police operation aimed at apprehending prisoners who escaped after an attack on the prison, adding that gunmen attacked the border city prison, last Sunday.

The Chihuahua Department of Public Security said two members of the state attorney's office and five suspected criminals were killed; They raise the total death toll from the attack to 27.
