More than 800 agreements worth a total of over 3.8 trillion rubles or $52 billion were struck at the St.Petersburg International Economic Forum 2021 (SPIEF), Anton Kobyakov, an adviser to the Russian President and SPIEF executive secretary told reporters.
"More than 800 agreements were signed at this forum. I believe that this is an unprecedented number, and it exceeded the results of 2019, which accounted to 745 agreements. The total amount of agreements, excluding the commercial ones exceeded 3,860 trillion rubles," Kobyakov added.
He pointed out that the number of participants in the forum reached 13,000 people from 140 countries, including 11,000 Russian and foreign companies, and 800 major corporations.

SPIEF 2021 was held from June 2-5 in the Russian city of St.Petersburg, during which 52,000 tests were conducted for the coronavirus, of which 500 tests were positive.
