Dozens of citizens were killed and wounded on Tuesday after Israeli occupation aircraft and artillery shelled sporadic areas of the Gaza Strip on the 179th day of aggression since 7 October.
In the southern Gaza city of Rafah, civil defence and ambulance crews retrieved 6 martyrs and a number of wounded from under the rubble of a house belonging to the Za 'arab family after being bombed by occupation warplanes and taken to the Abu Youssef al-Najjar hospital in the city.
In Khan Younis, a number of citizens were killed and injured following the occupation of a number of houses in the eastern region and in the city centre.
In Deir al-Balah, several citizens, including children, were martyred after occupation aircraft targeted al-Bashir mosque in the city centre. The occupation artillery also fired several shells at the Mughraqa area, the Gaza Valley and the north of the Nuseirat camp in the middle of the Strip.
In Gaza City, occupation aircraft bombed two houses in the Olive neighbourhood, while occupation artillery fired several shells towards the Tall al-Hawa 'and Sheikh Ajlin neighbourhoods, killing 3 citizens and injuring 6 others, and were taken to the Baptist Hospital in the city.
As a result of Israel's ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip, the number of martyrs rose to 32,845, mostly children and women, in addition to 75,392, while thousands of citizens remain missing in rubble and on the roads
