''Dassault Aviation' CEO Hails Joint Co-op with Egypt

On Wednesday, Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi held a meeting with Eric Trappier, chairman and CEO of Dassault Aviation, which manufactures Rafale fighter jets, according to Presidency spokesman Bassam Rady.

The spokesman said that the meeting dealt with aspects of fruitful cooperation with 'Dassault Aviation', in light of its long-standing experiences in the military industries that depend on the latest technological and technical systems.

On his part, Trappier hailed the joint cooperation with Egypt in the field of security and defense industries.

In this regard, Dassault Aviation CEO expressed keenness to continue and promote bilateral cooperation with the aim of supporting Egypt's balanced and rational role in favor of regional stability and security, as well as its pioneering role within the framework of international efforts to combat terrorism.

On the other hand, President Sisi affirmed the enormity of the challenges facing the region, which in turn requires a commitment to support capabilities and the use of the latest technological systems in the field of security and defense equipment.

It is worth mentioning that, the Egyptian President arrived in France on Sunday, at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron.

On Monday, the Egyptian president held two-hour talks with Macron and discussed several issues of common interests, regional files, and bilateral relations.
