Mette Frederiksen, the prime minister of Denmark, paid a visit to the Giza Pyramids on the third and last day of her first official visit to Egypt on Tuesday. After entering the Great Pyramid of Khufu, she then took a tour around the plateau.

In press statements, Frederiksen said he really loves your Egypt."Egypt is a very friendly country to visit, and has a very friendly population," she said.

Frederiksen had a meeting with Grand Imam Ahmed El-Tayyeb at Al-Azhar earlier on Monday to discuss ways to cooperate and world issues of shared concern.

These trips followed a thorough discussion she held with President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi about strengthening economic relations with Egypt on Monday afternoon, which was followed by a joint news conference.

This is Frederiksen's first trip there on official business; she will return to Egypt in 2023. She previously had a three-day winter holiday with her spouse Bo Tengberg to Luxor and Aswan in January.
