On May 20, Ghanem has passed away at the age of 84 after a struggle with disease.

The late legend met his wife on stage in 1981, when they worked together in the play "Ahlan Ya Doctor".

A huge love story arose between them. Ghanem revealed in an interview that she loved and chased him for four years, however, he used to shut her down because of the 20-age gap between them, but she kept on chasing him and insisted on marrying him, which they did in 1984.

The actress was the late legend's third marriage. He was previously married to a Somali woman for two months, and to a close Egyptian friend of his for a week.

Their remarkable love and relationship were clear on the social and professional level, as they participated in many works, providing the viewers with a glimpse of their love, who saw them as an ideal and harmonious couple, who shared everything, even illness.

The duo was transferred together to intensive care after their health deteriorated due to the Coronavirus, on April 30.
