The British newspaper "Daily Mail" revealed that 60 British volunteers will travel to Ukraine to fight against the Russian forces of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

This comes after the "Daily Mail" revealed that foreigners crossed into Ukraine to take up arms after a call from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Mamuka Mamolashvili, 43, commander of the Georgian National Corps, brought together former army and special forces soldiers.

British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss said Sunday that the United Kingdom (UK) would support the British citizens if they travel to join the resistance movement that is bravely confronting Russian forces.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, Mamulashvili said: "I have a very large group of Britons, about 60 traveling to Ukraine to join the Georgian National League unit.

He revealed that the Briton volunteers are traveling by car from the UK and will cross the Polish border. I expect them to arrive here with equipment and supplies in the next few days.  They are mostly men who fought with me in Georgia before but there are also new recruits."
