The Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský and his Japanese counterpart, Kamikawa Yoko, have signed an agreement in Tokyo that sets the stage for the establishment of a direct flight route between the two nations.
According to Prague International Radio's English-language broadcast on Friday, Lipavský's visit to Japan marks the final leg of his tour in the Indo-Pacific region, which commenced last Friday in New Delhi, India, and included a stop in Australia.
Lipavský's visit to Japan will conclude with a trip to the Osaka Prefecture, where he will focus on promoting his country's participation in the 2025 World Expo.
