Cyprus opposes the displacement of Palestinians from their country, President Nikos Christodoulides said on Tuesday.
Speaking to reporters at the Cyprus Hotel Association General Assembly, Christodoulides responded to questions about U.S. President Donald Trump’s suggestion of relocating Palestinians forcibly from Gaza.
“The Republic of Cyprus, always together with the EU, stands against the displacement of Palestinians from their country,” Christodoulides said.
