Cynthia Khalifeh Lands Her First Lead Drama Role

Lebanese actress, Cynthia Khalifeh has landed her first lead role in the police TV series, "8 Days".

"8 Days" is written and directed by Majdi Smiri. It consists of 8 episodes and features Khalifeh portraying a police officer, which is a brand new role for her.

Khalifeh will also star in TV series “Bimbo”.

It also stars Ahmed Malik, Huda El Mufti, Wegz, Razan El Moghrabi, and others.

The series, which consists of 15 episodes, is scripted by Mohamed Adel Adeeb and helmed by Amr Salama and Omar Roshdy.

The actress had also recently joined the cast of TV series, “Dalilk El Zaki Lil Talaq” (Your smart guide to porce).

It also stars Injy El Mokkaddem, Heidy Karam, Omar El Shenawy, Ingi Abou Zeid, and others.

The series is directed by Mostafa Abou Seif and is based on the American comedy-drama TV series “Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce”, which ran from 2014 to 2018 over five seasons.

The American series itself was adapted from the “Girlfriends’ Guides book” series by Vicki Iovine.

It revolved around Abby McCarthy, an author of a self-help book series, whose career comes to a halt after getting porced. Now a 40-year-old single woman, she seeks advice from her friends to lead a happy life.
