Swedish supermarket Coop has been forced to shut all its 800 due to an ongoing massive cyber-attack, according to international reports released on Saturday.
The shutdown of the Swedish Coop grocery store chain followed Friday’s catastrophic attack on U.S. tech provider Kaseya.
Late on Saturday, the FBI's spokesman said: “This issue is being investigated in coordination with the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.”
"We encourage all who might be affected to employ the recommended mitigations and for users to follow Kaseya's guidance to shut down VSA servers immediately," the statement added.
On the other hand, security experts suggested that this Cyberattack is the largest ransomware attack in history spread worldwide.
It's worth mentioning that this massive attack hijacked the technology management software Kaseya used.
