Culture Min. Launches “Convoys of Mobile Theaters" from Al-Asmarat District

Today, Enas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture launched  convoys of mobile theater from Al-Asmarat 3 district.

The convoy will include 6 governorates: Cairo, Mit Ghorab village, Senbelawin center, Dakahlia governorate, Al Balana village, Nasr Al Nuba center in Aswan governorate, Al Jubail village, Al Wadyan, Al Tur city, South Governorate Sinai, Rizqa village, the center of al-Qawsa, Deir al-Muharraq, Assiut Governorate, the villages of Abu al-Matamir Center- Beheira governorate.

The theaters will settle in each village from three to four days, then they will move to other villages in six governorates and then to the most needy villages in the various governorates of Egypt.

Abdel Dayem said that “the mobile theater convoys” will cover all regions of the General Organization of Cultural Palaces headed by Dr. Ahmed Awad.

They aim to deliver the cultural product to the various villages, slums, border areas and the most needy areas.

She added that these mobile theaters are a new means to implement the goals of the state program to build inpidual and to achieve the sustainable development - Egypt's vision 2030, stressing that it is one of the ways to achieve cultural justice and to spread enlightenment among the people of the nation.

It is noteworthy that the mobile theaters are equipped with the latest sound and lighting system, with a program to support the patriotic and belonging feeling by presenting the sacrifices of the heroes of the armed forces and the police.

She also pointed to the history of the governorate with its most famous personalities that belong to it.

Furthermore, she celebrated the struggle of Egyptian women and the initiatives: to discover talents, the seminars to raise awareness, cultural lectures in various fields.

The fields will include poetry evenings with the participation of writers and creators in each governorate, documentary and fictional films, book fairs, workshops of crafts, drawing and recycling of waste, theatrical and lyrical performances, artistic performances and interactive workshops for children of special abilities and folkloric performances.
