Dr Enas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, accompanied by Dr. Magdy Saber, head of the Egyptian Opera House, inspected today the final preparations of “The New Fountain Theater”.
The theatre was constructed to host the activities of the two festivals of "The 29th Edition of the Arabic Music Festival and Conference" and "Cairo International Film Festival”.
Abdel Dayem said that "Al- Nafoura – The Fountain Theater" is considered to be an addition to the Egyptian cultural structure to enrich the theater system in the Ministry of Culture.
Abdel Dayem added that this new theater will be used in hosting many activities to achieve the strategy of spreading enlightenment.
Furthermore, she explained the importance to prepare well this theater to suit the rank of Egypt in front of the whole world, stressing the need to apply the precautionary measures to limit the spread of Coronavirus.
It is noteworthy that the Fountain Theater, in its new form, accommodates 1000 viewers; it has a round shape with amphitheaters that allow applying social distance between the attendees. It has been equipped with all lighting and sound technological system , as well as the necessary civil protection system.
