Dr. Inas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, delivered the prizes of “The second Edition of The Golden Talents Competition” for the peoples with special abilities.
The event was organized by the Cultural Development Fund headed by Dr. Fathi Abdel Wahab and The Academy of Arts headed by Dr. Ashraf Zaki, in cooperation with Al Balad Al Youm Association for Economic and Social Development headed by Dr. Mohamed Abdel Ghani.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Magdy Saber, head of the Egyptian Opera House, Dr. Alia Saber, Vice President of Baladna Foundation, artist Ahmed Amin and a number of public figures.
Abdel Dayem stressed that the axes of the work of Culture Ministry include the adoption of young people of determination to integrate them naturally in society, adding that the Golden Talent Competition has succeeded since its beginning, last year, in discovering a large group of talents.
Abdel Dayem added that the group expressed themselves as models of challenge and determination. The second season come to provide an opportunity, for the children in the governorates, to integrate them in social work to achieve cultural justice among all the people of Egypt.
The minister noted that the competition represents a realistic action of the integration and cooperation between ministries, official institutions and civil society institutions, as partners in the implementation of sustainable development goals.
On his part, the president of Baladna Foundation said that the Golden Talents Competition highlighted the inspirational models of the power of love, thanking all those who contributed to the success of the activities of the second Edition of the competition.
He also praised the jury members, who were honored by the Minister of Culture. They included Dr. Mustafa Mohammed, head of the Committee, Dr. Nisreen Roshdy, Dr. Sahar Amin, Dr. Mohamed Alaa, Dr. Medhat Abdel Samie and the artist Ahmed Abdullah.
On the other hand, head of the Cultural Development Fund said that the competitions of this year were in the fields of: solo singing and solo playing – with the participation of more than 600 contestants from the governorates of Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Kafr El-Sheikh, Dakahlia, Damietta, Beheira, North Sinai, Canal, Port Said and Marsa Matrouh.
The winners of solo singing completion were: Judy Mohsen, Nancy Atef, Mohamed Yasser Ibrahim Mohamed, Rahma Mamdouh, Hisham Adel, Mahmoud Abdel Razek, Mostafa Hamdy, Mostafa Ahmed, Mohamed Magdy.
The winners of the awards of singing and winners of group singing were:Port Said Ensemble , Al- Nour Wa AL Amal - Giza, Al Al- Nour Wa AL Amal in Helmeya, Ahmed Shawky in Alexandria, El Hefny Choir Center, Talent Development Center Choir along with a special award from the jury to North Sinai Ensemble. In addition to a special award from the jury to Sarah Ahmed Magdy.
It is noteworthy that the ceremony included screening a documentary film monitoring the start of the competition and a series of artistic paragraphs performed by the winners.
