The Ministry of Culture succeeded in collecting the rare unique collection of manuscripts that were part of the library of the late artist Hassan Kamy after six months of negotiations with the new owner to agree on their monetary value.

She illustrated that the iniquities- that were attached to the records of national Egyptian heritage- represent symbols of humanity movement, noting the state will continue its serious steps to preserve the value of knowledge representing the links between the past, present and future.

On the other hand, Dr. Hisham Azmi, head of Books And National Documents Organization, said that immediately after the announcement of the death of the artist Hassan Kami, whose library "orientalist" had a great media attention and located in downtown Cairo, the Minister of Culture issued a decision to form a committee, headed by Books And National Documents Organization as the concerned organization according to the provisions of the Protection of Manuscripts Law No. 8 of 2009, to inspect the library of the artist, to preserve what may be historically valuable.

The committee, that included seven professionals and jurists, was responsible for making a report about the heritage valuable antiquities to be submitted to the permanent Committee of Manuscript Law.
