Culture Min., Giza Governor Attend "Pride and Dignity" Epic

In celebrating 6th October victories, the Minister of Culture and the Governor of Giza honored 15 professors from the Academy of Arts and alumni of the Arab Music Institute in 2019 and 2020 classes.

Abdel Dayem: Soft power is one of the means to stimulate determination to complete the process of building and development.

Within the activities of the Ministry of Culture to celebrate the 47th anniversary of the glorious October victories, Dr. Inas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture and Major General Ahmed Rashid, Governor of Giza, attended the ceremony organized by the Art Academy headed by Dr. Ashraf Zaki under the title" 6 October 1973- Epic of Pride and Dignity".

The event was held in Sayed Darwish Hall, animated by the Higher Institute Ensemble for Arabic music, led by Maestro Dr. Mohamed Abdel Sattar.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Ghada Jabara, Vice President of the Academy, artist Mona Abdel Ghani - was one of the students of the Institute, and a group of professors and students.

Abdel Dayem said that the ministry of culture's celebrations of October victories continue during October in all governorates of the republic to deepen and consolidate the meanings of steadfastness and determination in the collective consciousness of the Egyptians.

The minister added that Egypt's soft power is one of the effective means to generate the motivation to complete the process of construction and development.

The minister praised the pivot role of the Arts Academy in creating new generation that is able to contribute positively in spreading enlightenment and awareness.

She expressed her happiness with the distinguished level of the institute's students, confirming the richness of the creative coming generations.

She and the Governor of Giza honored a number of professors of the Academy and the Arabic Music Institute for their efforts to prepare creative generations and for continuing their mission during Corona pandemic.

The honored figures were: Dr. Naima Sadiq, Dr. Khayria Jamil Mustafa Jamil, Dr. Hoda Ahmed Mohamed Ali, Dr. Mohamed Qutb Eissa, Dr. Ahmed Yousef Al-Taweel, Dr. Sally Ali Tamoum, Dr. Ahmed Saad Amin, Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Sattar Abdel-Moati, Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Othman Al-Qasabji, Dr. Majed Ahmed Sorour, Dr. Medhat Abdel-Sami, Dr. Amira Ahmed Al-Nasser, Dr. Mona Abdel-Ghani Abbas, Mazen Draz and Majda Owais Abdel-Latif.

In addition, they honored the graduates of the Arab Music Institute in 2019 and 2020 classes.

It is worthy of note that the celebration included presentation of a group of patriotic songs that thrilled the attendees and brought back to mind the atmosphere of the miracle of " crossing", in addition to presenting the operetta "The good land" performed by the artist Mona Abdel Ghani.
