Crocus City Hall Attack Death Toll Jumps to 143

On Saturday, the Russian authorities announced that the death toll of the Crocus City Hall attacks jumped to 143.

The investigating committee announced that several people in Bryansk, near the Ukrainian borders, were detained as suspects.

Tass agency highlighted that Russian President Vladimir Putin was informed about that 11 persons were detained, including 4 terrorists who participated in the attacks

The incident occurred in the Crocus concert hall located on the western outskirts of Moscow, where, according to RIA Novosti, a Russian news agency, multiple gunmen opened fire, causing numerous casualties.

On Friday, a Moscow concert hall near the capital became the scene of a horrific shooting and explosion, resulting in at least 40 fatalities and 100 injuries, as reported by Russian media outlets.

The incident occurred in the Crocus concert hall located on the western outskirts of Moscow, where, according to RIA Novosti, a Russian news agency, multiple gunmen opened fire, causing numerous casualties.

Reports indicate that at least three individuals dressed in combat gear unleashed a barrage of bullets from their weapons at the attendees.

The official TASS news agency confirmed the shooting took place at Crocus Hall, further heightening the gravity of the situation.

Various Russian media sources have covered the incident extensively, noting that the gunfire led to a fire breaking out within the premises. A video circulating on Russian messaging channels displayed towering plumes of black smoke billowing from the building, highlighting the chaos and destruction that ensued.
