CPYP: 1500 Observers in 14 Governorates to Monitor Elections

The Central Operations Room of the Coordination Committee of Party's Youth Leaders and Politicians (CPYP) held a press conference on Saturday, to review the electoral scene in the governorates of the first phase of the 2020 Parliament elections.

The CPYP began monitoring and follow-up work for the 2020 House of Representatives elections, which began its first phase today, Saturday, with 1,500 supervisors who obtained their IDs from the National Elections Authority.

The Coordination of Parties Youth and Politicians continues to follow the electoral process until the final results are announced by the National Elections Authority, and it will remain in session until the completion of the second phase of the voting process.

The CPYP competed in the elections, as the National List for Egypt includes 26 candidates from the Coordination Committee, as well as six candidates running in the electoral race for six seats in the inpidual system.

Nashwa Al-Sharif, a member of the CPYP, said that the operations room continues its work through many observers in the governorates across the republic.

Shaima Abd al-Elah, the official spokesman, added that the operations room has been held permanently for a week, noting that there are 1,500 observers at the governorate level to provide the information with all credibility.
