On Thursday, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) approved Russia's Sputnik V' COVID-19 vaccine for emergency use.
This came as part of the UAE's comprehensive efforts to strengthen epidemic prevention.
In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Health said, "Study results have demonstrated the effectiveness of the vaccine in triggering a strong antibody response against the virus."
It is worth mentioning that, Sputnik V is the 3rd vaccine approved by UAE.
