French Prime Minister (PM) Jean Castex will self isolate after getting in contact with French President Emmanuel Macron who already tested positive for COVID-19, Gerard Larcher, head of the Senate, the upper house of the French parliament said.

It is worth mentioning that, French President Emmanuel Macron has contracted the novel coronavirus, according to the Elysee.
In a statement, the Elysee said, “In accordance with current health regulations applicable to all, the president will isolate himself for 7 days. He will continue to work and carry out his activities remotely."
