Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois believes Mohamed Salah can adapt to La Liga if decides to make a move to a Spanish team.

Salah has been one of the biggest names in the football world since joining Liverpool from Roma in 2017.

Despite his incredible performances with Liverpool, the Egyptian’s future remains in doubt as the two sides haven’t reached an agreement for a new deal yet.

With his contract ending next year, rumors started to emerge about possible future destinations for Liverpool winger.

Two of the major candidates to sign Salah are La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona as both clubs are going through the process of rebuilding their teams.

In a statement he made to news outlet El Captain, Courtois stated that Salah adapting to La Liga wouldn’t be an issue as he has the ability to adapt to any major league.

“A possible transfer for Mohamed Salah to the league? There is no easy transfer from one league to another or one club to another,” Courtois said.

“Although there are exceptions, of course, there were good players in the English Premier League, and they succeeded when they move to the Spanish League, and vice versa.

“On a personal level, my adaptation to the Spanish League was not complicated, due to the fact that I came from the English Premier League, and for this reason I think that Salah can succeed in adapting to any of the five major leagues.”
