Costa Rica to Deport 2 ISIS Suspects to Egypt

Costa Rica announced that it will deport four suspected members affiliated to The Islamic State (ISIS) terrorist group after being arrested in Nicaragua earlier Tuesday near Costa Rican border, France 24 news agency reported.

The four men included two Egyptians and two Iraqis.

According to authorities in the Capital, Managua, the four men entered the city through “La Guasimada “ unauthorized crossing point.

In an official statement issued by Nicaraguan police, the four suspected men were “allegedly linked to the terrorist organization ISIS”.

The four men are: Mohamed Ibrahim, 33 and Mohamed Samy Eissa, 26 from Egypt, as well as, Ahmed Ghanim Mohamed Al-Jubury, 41 and Mustafa Ali Mohamed Yaoob, 29 from Iraq, the police statement read.

Costa Rica's migratory directorate announced that the four men would be expelled to their countries once their investigations are over.
