Coronavirus... Turkish Citizens Attack Erdogan’s Government

A number of Turkish citizens launched a major attack on the Turkish government because of its failure to confront the deadly Coronavirus, in addition to the lack of protection measures to prevent the virus from spreading to the country.

One of the Turkish citizens posted on Twitter a photo of a person wearing a "sanitary towel" instead of the face medical mask, the photo was accompanied by a comment: "Here are the security measures in Turkey to confront the Coronavirus."

Chinese authorities said, on Tuesday, that the death toll from the new Coronavirus has risen to 427.

The Chinese official television announced that the total number of the infection cases in the country has risen to 20438.

Noteworthy, Chinese Ambassador to Cairo, Liao Liqiang, announced that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi sent a message of solidarity to his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, to express Egypt’s support and sympathy with the Chinese people over the outbreak of coronavirus.

El-Sisi also hailed the efforts exerted by the Chinese government in confronting the deadly virus.

The ambassador expressed, in a press conference held on Monday at the embassy headquarters in Cairo, his deep thanks to the Egyptian leadership in supporting and sympathizing with the people of China.

He also displayed some messages of solidarity that were sent by some Egyptians people to show sympathy with the Chinese people.

On Thursday, the United States warned its citizens not to travel to China after Beijing announced that the death toll from the new Coronavirus has risen to more than 200 while the World Health Organization declared coronavirus outbreak global health emergency.
