Coronavirus Has Another Face!

Despite the horror and terror the whole world is experiencing nowadays due to the deadly Coronavirus, this epidemic has another face ... I hope you to understand my words well, I do not underestimate the catastrophe, but I just want to address the tragedy from another point of view.

This crisis has reunited families again, as fathers and mothers were too busy to make money and meet life requirements, and did not have any time to spend it together or with their children.

The world was living in a terrible financial race and there is no survival for those who stop to catch their breath, and this ordeal has also united Egyptians, and make the whole world join hands in face of an enemy that does not differentiate between black and white, the rich and the poor, the Asian, European, American, and African, all human beings are living the same catastrophe and experiencing the same symptoms ... runny nose, fever, cramps, and severe acute respiratory syndrome.

Egypt has presented a vivid model for countries in addressing this dilemma which is facing the entire human community, hence, we have to thank President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the Egyptian government which was able to transfer the true image of coronavirus to society via various means from official and reliable media to social networking sites.

Egypt is dealing with the crisis with full transparency and documented its information with the data of the World Health Organization… it  has also succeeded through gradual measures in preventing gatherings and imposing the effective measure, which is curfew.

Moreover, we can see Egypt's health ministry with all its heroes- doctors, and nurses, medical experts, scientists on the front-lines fighting COVID-19 fight.

This war provided another criterion for progress and backwardness in government policies that is not based on economic factors, yet on the state's ability to reduce the scale of the disaster, and mobilizing community forces through collective initiatives to overcome this critical stage. The Egyptian government wise management of the crisis has succeeded in reducing the number of infections, and loses.

At the global level .. environmental and climate experts are now living their best times after years and years of controversy and maneuver between the great powers east and west to support the efforts of the environment and stop the expansion of the so-called ozone layer.

The stagnation and paralysis of factories and global arsenals have led to an improvement in the degree of air purity over China, Europe and America due to the interruption of heat emissions.

I have seen the maps and pictures published by the Royal Netherlands Institute on air purity for low nitrogen dioxide emissions, over the Chinese city of Wuhan, Italy, Berlin, Paris, London, New York, and Florida, which are the same places that have witnessed the widespread of the Coronavirus.

The lesson here is not the state of the air purity for a day or several days, yet how to turn this purity into policies for long periods!

On the level of tensions .. on the spheres of influence in the world, I hope and pray that the wrestlers will respond to the call of the Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN) to declare a ceasefire, and to unify efforts in face of the epidemic of Coronavirus.

I also hope that this declaration will be supported by resolutions of the UN Security Council and General Assembly to immediately stop conflicts in Yemen, Syria, and Libya.

Last but not least, I want to talk proudly about our Egyptian immune system.. our army and its heroes and their vital role in eliminating crises and bottlenecks in goods and services to maintain the provision of basic needs for citizens, and to provide medical supplies for citizens to prevent disease such as face-masks, gloves, as well as sterilization and cleaning solutions, along with its primary role in the war against the fierce terrorist groups which aims at disturbing the stability and security of the country in times of crises.
