Coronavirus cases worldwide surpass 134.6 mln

Johns Hopkins University announced on Saturday that more than 134.6 million people were infected with Coronavirus worldwide, including more than 2915400 deaths.

The COVID-19 cases have been recorded in more than 210 countries and regions since the outbreak in December 2019.

Earlier, the White House coronavirus task force has warned local authorities of a new strain of the virus that was identified in the United States, amid concerns that the mutation of the virus will impede the work of new vaccines and President Joe Biden’s plans to combat the pandemic
