The second birthday of Britain`s Queen Elizabeth II was marked with a unique ceremony at Windsor Castle performed by the Welsh Guard.
It comes after the traditional Color Parade Trooping has been canceled due to the pandemic of coronavirus.
It is only the second time that the London parade hasn't gone ahead in her 68-year reign.
The Queen, flanked by officials, sat to the ceremony alone on a dais. This was her first official appearance in public since lockdown started.
The Queen celebrated her 94th birthday in April but every year on the second Saturday of June it is officially-and publicly-celebrated.
This is usually followed by Elizabeth II Birthday Honours' List annual announcement. However, she has "graciously agreed" to postpone the list's publication to autumn this year.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson said in a statement last month that the delay "will allow us to ensure that the list, agreed before this public health emergency was developed, reflects the Covid-19 effort and comes at a time when we can properly celebrate the achievements of all those included."
