Coronavirus: 7 Mosques Closed in Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs announced on Sunday that 7 mosques in 2 regions were temporarily closed after a number of cases of Coronavirus were confirmed inside them.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), a total of 461 mosques were closed in the Kingdom within 56 days, 441 of them were opened after the completion of sterilization, in the context of ensuring the safety of worshipers.

The COVID-19 cases have been recorded in more than 210 countries and regions since the outbreak in December 2019.
