A recent Austrian study stated that the closure of schools, which accompanied the Corona pandemic in many countries of the world, will have a significant impact on widening the gap in the skill and educational capabilities of individuals between developing and developed countries for decades to come.

The pandemic worsens the imbalance in the values of equality between members of the labor force in those countries to a greater extent.

The study, which was conducted by the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis in Austria, added that the period of school closures and the lack of alternative distance education opportunities in developing countries in particular will widen the current gap in human capabilities for decades to come if work is not done to reduce this gap now.

The study indicated that the closure witnessed by the countries of the world during the Corona pandemic will affect the labor force and the capabilities of adults until 2050.

It indicated that the economic value of the experiences of individuals and their acquired skills gives a future vision for the situation of societies, especially the workforce, which is necessary for employment processes and the promotion of economic growth and development outlook.
