Damietta University has announced the selection of one of its research projects to participate in the climate change conference (COP27), which will be held a few days later in Sharm El-Sheikh.
The project was chosen by the committee formed for this purpose.
The research deals with the effects of climate change on the diversity of birds and their migration in coastal areas next to the Mediterranean Sea.
The project was prepared by Dr. Basma Sheta, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Science.
It will be presented in the “green zone” in the conference halls in Sharm El-Sheikh.
Dr. El-Sayed Mohamed Daadour, President of the University, congratulated Dr. Basma Sheta, one of the university’s promising young scientists, and all active participation of the university in this global event in which world leaders appear in it.
