Today, Ain Shams University and Berlin University of Technology (TU Berlin) have signed a cooperation protocol in the fields of engineering, telecommunications, computers, artificial intelligence, economics, business administration, education, and teaching, at the University of TU Berlin, El Gouna, Hurghada.
The President of Ain Shams University said that the university is keen to expand the base of international partnerships with major international universities.
He added that this reflects positively on the quality of the educational process and its outputs and opens wider prospects for its graduates in the labor market locally and internationally by keeping pace with the study programs and the requirements of the labor market.
He explained that TU Berlin is one of the largest and oldest technical universities in Germany. It dates back to 1879, and 10 of its teachers and graduates received the Nobel Prize. It opened its first international branch in Egypt in 2012 in El Gouna - Hurghada and aims to serve scientific research in Egypt in many fields of energy, environment, urban development, and others.
The Rector expressed confidence that this cooperation will bring great benefits to students and graduates to achieve the desired goals. It will also create a generation capable of assuming leadership positions in the future.
Also, Ain Shams University organized a workshop for university leaders entitled "How to build a successful team", in order to enhance inpidual competence and institutional excellence and contribute efficiently and effectively in the development and training of faculty members and staff, which contributes to the construction and development of administrative systems, support and raise the efficiency of the administrative system
