Some newspapers news websites claimed that Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram’s husband Fadi Al Hashem has been arrested after the investigation found him guilty of manipulating with the break-in footage, which went viral on social media, showing the attacker pointing his gun and shooting at Al Hashem.
Then the footage cut to the assailant making his way to one of the rooms in the house only to be met with the doctor, who chases after the intruder, named Mohammed Hassan Al Moussa before shooting him.
According to the Saudi Okaz newspaper, Al Hashem has been arrested last night for questioning after the emergence of a new evidence. It is also expected that Nancy will also be questioned in the coming hours.
On the other hand, sources close to the renowned singer denied such rumors circulated on social media platforms. They confirmed that Al-Hashem is now at his home, adding that he has been summoned for two times, but he was released after investigating him over the incident.

The Lebanese MTV satellite channel revealed what has happened inside Nancy’s house that the intruder was holding one of Ajram’s handbags, asking for money. The doctor complied, giving him cash from his jacket, but then Al Moussa asked: “Where is the gold? Don’t make me hurt you. Call your wife.”
It is noteworthy that Lebanese Judge Ghada Aoun decided last week to release Nancy Ajram's husband, after reviewing the surveillance cameras and evidence, confirming that what the latter had done a legitimate act of self-defense.
