The Organizing Committee announced the names of the winners of the "Ibdaa –Creativity " award competition in jewelry design, which is held on the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi International Jewelry and Watches Exhibition.
The "Ibdaa" award, which consists of four design categories, including pearls, the Emirati national identity, designs inspired by Arabic calligraphy, and designs for people with special needs, has attracted a large number of designers of different nationalities, numbering more than 500 designers to this day.
And the number of those who have been honored during the ten years was 150 winners, 50 of whom won first place. D.
Organizers of the Ibdaa Award celebrate the tenth anniversary of its founding since its first launch, which was established by Emirati designer Azza Al Qubaisi as a leading platform for emerging jewelry designers, to present and evaluate their designs through a panel of specialists.
The award is an opportunity to transform their passion from a hobby to a professional.
In the context of activating the participation of all designers in the Ibdaa Award, a new category was created under the name “Creativity Without Borders” to be an opportunity to present all creative artworks of jewelry and other pieces of art.
The jury includes 3 prominent artists, including jewelry designer Azza Al Qubaisi, designer Maha Al Sibai, Sheikha Al Serkal, and Noura Al Serkal.
