Comoros President Azali Assoumani was injured in a knife attack on Friday, AFP reported a few minutes ago.
The Spokeswoman of the government Fatima Ahamadael said, that president was stabbed by a knife but his injuries are not dangerous.
She told AFP: "The head of state was victim of an attack in Salimani-Itsandra," which is an area on the outskirts of the capital Moroni.
She added: "Thank God, his life is not in danger."
