Comoros national football team have announced their final squad for the their first ever participation in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Comoros are on the verge of making history, with their their first ever AFCON appearance around the corner.
Comoros were drawn in Group C against one of the tournament’s favourites in Morocco as well as Ghana and Gabon, and will face the latter in their opener on 10 January.
Les Coelacantes will go to the tournament with 26 players initially chosen by manager Amir Abdou. The squad includes former Marseille right back Abdallah Ali Mohamed, AC Ajaccio duo Chaker Alhadhur and Mohamed Youssouf as well as Auxerre’s Iyad Mohamed.
