The commander of the Tigray Popular Liberation Front (PLF) forces, Tadesse Werad, said today, Saturday, that his forces are preparing for a "major attack that will resolve the battle with the government forces led by Ethiopia's Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali."
He added that TPLF's forces have not withdrawn but their plan now is to shorten the time to limit the suffering of the Ethiopians from worsening."
He continued in a speech to the people of Tigray, which was circulated by the Ethiopians on social media, and was published by the Tigray news page in Arabic with a translator into Arabic that the TPLF's forces know very well that when they take a step back, they are sure that they will move two steps forward the next day, and this is not new to the people of Tigray."
He stressed that the propaganda launched by the Ethiopian army against the TPLF will not last long, saying that will silence this bragging, in a short time, they will reach their full capabilities and launch a full attack.
Tadesse Werad said that the noise of the enemy (the Ethiopian army) has already begun to be silenced and in the next few days the TPLF's will be in a position to achieve massive victories.
"We are in a very strong position, the enemy's wild dreams while borrowing non-existent victories on their way to total humiliation," he added.
"The Tigray people must be confident in their sons, regardless of the technology and the large number of manpower that the enemy brings," said the commander of the Tigray People's Liberation Front.
Addressing the people of Tigray, he said, "Be confident in your sons, brothers, sisters, fathers and in general the Tigray army, and in a short period of time we will move to a huge leap and I assure you that we will bring the war to an end soon."
