Cold Weather Prevails across Egypt on Thursday, Cairo 16°C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts cold weather to prevail in Cairo, Northeastern coast, central Sinai, North Upper Egypt, Northwestern coasts, and Lower Egypt, during daylight hours on Thursday.

Moderate weather is also set to prevail in South Sinai, the Red Sea mountain ranges, and South Upper Egypt.

Meteorologists also predicted that the country will continue to experience a decline in temperature.

Light to medium rain is also foreseen to prevail in the Northwestern coast, Northern Lower Egypt, the Northeastern coast, and central Sinai.

Light rain is also predicted to hit Cairo and Southern Lower Egypt.

There will also be a disruption of maritime navigation in the Mediterranean Sea with wave height of 4 meters.

Meanwhile, extremely cold weather is foreseen to prevail across the country at nighttime, reaching the point of frost in central Sinai.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 16°C in Cairo, 16°C in Alexandria, 16°C in Marsa Matruh, 16°C in Sohag, 17°C in Qena, and 19°C in Aswan.
