The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts very cold weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, the North Coast, and North Upper Egypt, during daylight hours on Tuesday.
Moderately hot weather is also set to prevail in South Sinai and South Upper Egypt.
Meteorologists also predict that the country will continue to experience a decline in temperature.
Furthermore, the country will witness mist on some agricultural roads and highways leading to Cairo, Lower Egypt, the North Coast, Canal cities, central Sinai, and North Upper Egypt.
Light rain is predicted to prevail in the northwest coast, at intermittent periods.
Wind will occur occasionally in Cairo and North Upper Egypt.
Meanwhile, extremely cold weather is foreseen to prevail across the country at nighttime, reaching the point of frost in central Sinai.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 19°C in Cairo, 18°C in Alexandria, 19°C in Marsa Matruh, 19°C in Sohag, 20°C in Qena, and 22°C in Aswan.
