CNC: At Least 100 Martyred in Israeli Air Raids on Rafah, Khan Yunis at Dawn

Israeli bombed Rafah and Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday dawn, resulting in the death of 100 martyrs, Palestinian medical sources told Cairo News Channel (CNC).

Adnan Abu Hasna, spokesman for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Refugees (UNRWA), said that the agency was caring for 150,000 displaced people before the recent aggression on Gaza, but now there are one million displaced people, including 400,000 displaced people in the agency’s schools.

The UNRWA spokesman added: “Today we were distributing one loaf to each person per day, and the operation taking place in Gaza is dangerous in light of the continued Israeli bombing of the Strip and there is no potable water.”

“The residents of Gaza drink from wells contaminated with carcinogenic and poisonous substances, due to the depletion of fuel, which led to the cessation of water desalination plants, except for a few plants that are not sufficient.

The UN official added that bakeries do not work at full capacity due to the lack of fuel. Some bakeries work half a day, so the Gazans suffer from a horrific disaster.
