Egypt's Civilization and Heritage Month activities, organized by the Canadian Egyptian Heritage Association in Canada, will be launched at the beginning of July under the patronage of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly on Friday.
On this occasion, the CN Tower will be light up in the colors of Egypt's flag next month. The initiative ahead of the last meeting between Egypt's government and Canadian authorities brought joy to some Egyptians in the area.
This also comes within the framework of effective cooperation with the Egyptian community in Canada and the Canadian authorities, according to the Minister of Immigration Nabila Makram.
"The celebrations for Egypt's civilization and heritage month will include broadcasting events and exclusive meetings for symbols of art, literature, and culture in Egypt on Saturday and Sunday of every week throughout July," the Canadian Egyptian Heritage Association in Canada said.
"Nearly, 30 Egyptian institutions and NGOs in Canada have announced their readiness to participate," the association added.
It's worth mentioning that the tower is the prominent Toronto landmark to be decked out in black, white, and red.
