The original details project have overwhelming success and wide resonance during its 1st performance on stage on October 15, amid high expectations for this show to receive with global interest with its remodeling.

While the story seems to suggest the Queen Cleopatra cunning and deceive all the men she meet in order to preserve her throne, it tells a large part of the truth that can be interpreted in many ways, but the beauty of queen and the country specificity explain that.

Once, she loved Julius Caesar as Rome, and gives birth his son "Caesaron" then with Antonio who appears true love for the great queen so she decides to die next to him.

The show is interested in the story details and its expression in the ballet dances, which can distinguish the spectator from the famous dances with often lengthy needless drama; each dance in "Cleopatra" is so important in the events, so you do not need the booklet of the show to understand or discern what it does mean.

In addition to the show music, which is the true hero of this project, the Egyptian character reflects the different country’s cultures, fugitive and blowing machines that suggest greatness and luxury in the Queen Palace; Rababh and sad drums suggesting that its pure Egyptian production without the need to know the name of the composer Mohamed Saad Pasha, from his genius; he seems deeply influenced by Egyptian musical heritage.

Saad Pasha, the show's music composer, said that he did not intend to express Egypt explicitly, but expressed his Egyptian identity. As for the selection of musical instruments, this was almost intentional to paint the Egyptian identity on a work that narrates part of Egypt's history so that music reflects that era, and their music, such as; Rababa, fugitive and blowing machines as well as each of them has its own sense that is used to convey a certain feeling.

“The use of the orchestra was very successful in expressing the melody as he dreamed, expecting to achieve the performance after several years and repeat the show for global success because it is an original presentation of identity and components, which the Opera House will seek to exploit and repeat the experience,” he added.

"Despite the participation of foreign artists in the performance was my idea, it remains the Egyptian Opera House`s first official assignment to an Egyptian composer to compose and lead the orchestra with completely produce this work on stage," Pasha added.

"Much global ballet`s contents and ways they are presented change over time, while its music never changes, proving that it is the most important element in the performance. The famous ballet works are chronicled and written in the name of its music composer such as the opera Aida which is named after its first composer Verdi Aida."

Dr. Rasha Tamoum Professor of Theories and Composition at the Music Education Faculty Helwan University, and the official commentator on the opera house performances, clarified that the Opera decision to produce the Cleopatra Ballet, as a complete Egyptian show is a real achievement and a strong addition to the ballet performances in the world.

It is considered one of the best known performances is Sawa, "Aida", which was produced for Egypt specially and presented in Egypt for the 1st time.

Tamoum explained that this is not the first experience of making an Egyptian musical ballet; it was preceded by the ballet of Hassan, Naima and Osiris by the author Gamal Abd El Rahim in the 50th, as well as the presentation of Shafika and Metwally by the artist Mohamed Abd El Fattah; all works that did not see the full light and were not produced.

As for the musical color of the show, is usually the music composition of the author alone, while the matter is different here; the author participated with the makers of the dance show in the addition and amendment to mix dance music, as evidenced by the sequence of the show pieces with authentic Egyptian character in the expression.

In addition what the presentation raised about the life of Cleopatra, which seems to have always solved its problems using seduction, the dramatic interpretation is always different from the real facts; one can not measure the moral standards of time immemorial values now, but the correct explanation that Cleopatra's motives were to sacrifice all that she has to protect Egypt and keep her throne.
