On Sunday, a number of military clashes between Libya's Government of National Accord (GNA) and the Libyan National Army led by Marshal Khalifa Haftar were sparked near Sabha military zone.
Those clashes were initiated when the troops of the Sabha military zone gathered for celebrating Libya's Independence Day, sources expressed.
They added that Haftar's forces blocked a road near the military zone, opened fire on the fighters blocking the road, so Sabha military zone troops responded to the source of fire.
"The clashes caused road congestion" with no injuries or deaths were reported from the two sides, moreover, the clashes ended shortly, the sources indicated.
