The Ministry of Civil Aviation, on Monday, affirmed that Egyptian airspace is operating at full capacity and functioning normally.

It added that air traffic across all Egyptian airports is regular and secure.

In an official statement, the Ministry added that the highest state of preparedness has been activated at Cairo International Airport and all other airports across Egypt, in anticipation of receiving flights that may be rerouted to Egyptian airports due to these regional changes.

The Ministry confirmed its full readiness in terms of operational, logistic, and technical resources.

It also stated that direct coordination is underway with all airlines operating at Egyptian airports to ensure the continued smooth flow of air traffic.

Furthermore, the Ministry confirmed that flight operations within Egyptian airspace and across all airports in the country are proceeding normally.

The situation is being monitored through the central operations rooms and crisis management units within the Ministry, in full coordination with all relevant national authorities and agencies.

Ongoing and continuous coordination is also being maintained with all relevant international bodies to monitor the situation until the reopening of the temporarily closed airspaces.
