City Edge Launches New Alamein Downtown project

Real estate developer in Egypt City Edge Developments has launched New Alamein Downtown project, which is owned by NUCA.

The launch of the Downtown project comes after achieving high sales rates of EGP 6.5 billion in the first 9 months in 2019 in New Alamein.

The new project is expected to meet the rising demand for residential units in this promising new city.

 

This project is master-planned as a modern apartment building complex to complement the residential towers and villas in the city.

“The overwhelming demand to purchase residential units of ‘The Gate’ and ‘Mazarine’ housing projects is a clear testament to clients’ trust in City Edge and a sign of the positive growth recorded in the market this year,” says City Edge CEO Amr ElKady.

He added, “The launch of the Downtown project aims to meet the demand of clients who are looking for medium-rise buildings and adds a good persification of the company’s portfolio of projects”.

The Down Town is located at the heart of New Alamein City; it's a two-minute walk to the beach; 8 minutes walk to the hospital and 3.5 km away to universities, while it is very close to the Monorail and the Old Town areas.

The project comprises residential buildings that include a mix of units ranging from penthouses to ground floor apartments with private gardens of all sizes. Downtown Alamein will house a perse number of amenities centered around beautifully designed plazas with commercial and lifestyle facilities for the residences including large public green spaces in line with the vision of New Alamein City which foresees a 14 square metre green area for every resident instead of the global standard of 9 square metre.

“The project is expected to be completed by 2020 along with Mazarine and the Gate”, ElKady said.

He confirmed, “We are committed to the hand-over of the projects as per contractual schedules," adding, “Mazarine and the Gate were launched in July this year, while North Edge Towers was launched in 2018.
