The donations were made from Cinnabon sales of its "Strawberry Lemonattas" juice, which were sent to the hospital in support of breast cancer patients in Egypt, as part of the hospital's campaign in October to contribute to the early detection and treatment of breast cancer.

The juice was colored pink to match the pink theme of the campaign and the pink ribbons used universally as a symbol of breast cancer awareness and methods of detection and early treatment.

Donations to the campaign highlight the fact that emotional support plays a big role in the fight against cancer, and Cinnabon has taken part in the campaign to reassure the Egyptian women battling the disease and help them return safely to their families, careers, and lives.

Cinnabon has been operating in Egypt since 2003 and has 35 branches in several governorates across the country, including Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Tanta, Mansoura, and Port Said.

Noteworthy, Baheya Foundation is a non-profit charity founded by Ms. Baheya Wahby.

It treats women with breast cancer, the most common type of cancer among Egyptian women. It is one of the largest hospitals in Egypt that helps women discover and treat breast cancer.

Treatment in Baheya is free of charge and all services offered to patients throughout all stages of treatment, which includes early detection, surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, psychotherapy, and clinical nutrition.

Baheya's campaign focuses on changing Egyptian women's habits of putting their homes and families first before their health.

It also seeks to promote the idea that women need to be healthy to be able to take care of their families, therefore encourages women to undergo early examinations starting the age of 30 as well as to eat healthy food, walk, and exercise.
