The Muslim Council of Elders’ pavilion at the Cairo International Book Fair hosted an intellectual seminar titled “The Digital Age and the Reshaping of Literary Taste,” examining how digital transformations are influencing literary appreciation and creativity.
The seminar featured Professor Dr. Salama Dawoud, President of Al-Azhar University, and drew wide attendance from intellectuals, researchers, and students of knowledge.
Discussions focused on safeguarding literary creativity amid rapid technological change, stressing the need to balance authenticity with modernity in the acquisition of knowledge. Speakers also highlighted the importance of nurturing linguistic and cultural sensibilities among younger generations in an increasingly digital world.
