The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts warm weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, and North Upper Egypt, during daylight hours on Saturday, the Coptic Christmas.
Warm weather is also predicted to hit the South Sinai and South Upper Egypt.
The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads to Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, Canal Cities, Central Sinai, and North Upper Egypt.
Wind will occur occasionally in the South Sinai.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 2 meters with western surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters with northwest surface winds.
Moreover, most parts of the country will experience cold weather at nighttime. Extremely cold weather is also predicted to hit the North Upper Egypt.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 22°C in Cairo, 23°C in Alexandria, 23°C in Matruh, 24°C in Sohag, 26°C in Qena, and 27°C in Aswan.
