Mr. HU Heping, the Chinese Minister of Culture and Tourism, and his accompanying delegation visited Giza Pyramids.
They were received by Mr. Ashraf Mohieldin, Director General of the Pyramid Antiquities Region, who took them on a tour inside the archaeological area.
The tour included visiting the Great Pyramid. They listened to a detailed explanation of the history of the pyramid, the method of its construction, and the new archaeological discoveries in the region.
They visited also the panorama area, where they took photos, and the tour concluded with a visit to the Sphinx statue area, where the Chinese minister and the delegation listened to an explanation about the history of the statue and the method of its sculpture, in addition to the temples of the Sphinx and the Valley.
The Chinese minister expressed his happiness and admiration with the archaeological area, and the greatness of the ancient Egyptian civilization.
