Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived at Paris Orly Airport on Sunday evening for a two-day state visit to France.
During his visit, he will discuss with President Emmanuel Macron several issues,foremost which is the war in Ukraine.
The Chinese President and his wife, Peng Liyuan, arrived at the airport and were received by French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal.
The official visit ceremony will begin tomorrow, Monday, and includes joint meetings and talks with his French counterpart.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will also join the French and Chinese presidents at the Elysee Palace. It is expected that commercial issues will be raised during the meeting.
