Chinese Foreign Minister (FM) Wang Yi arrived in Kazakhstan on Monday to participate in Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Foreign Ministers Council Meeting.
During his visit, held talks with officials from Kazakhstan that focused mainly on trade relations between both countries.
During the meeting, SCO foreign ministers also discussed a number of international and regional issues of common interest, in addition to development and cooperation in the next stage.
Wang Yi's visit to Kazakhstan follows a two-day trip to Tajikistan with the aim of strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries.
